The disciples Jesus chose were no better than you are. They made mistakes; they could be arrogant, lazy, and selfish. But once they were filled with the Holy Spirit, they took the good news of the Gospel to the four corners of the earth.
 
Their legacy endures today. As followers of Christ, we also are commissioned to share the “good news” of salvation in Christ and of His imminent return. As you read this book, you will be inspired to put your trust in Jesus. Ask Him to fill you with the Holy Spirit so you may share your faith, hope, and love with others.
 
The Acts of the Apostles has inspired generations of Christians to endure hardships gladly for the sake of bringing people to the Lord. But you need not travel the world to find people in need of the Saviour: they are in the very town where you live. Let God lead you to them.
